Do I need a PayPal Account to pay someone on Paystr?
 
No.  You do not need to be a PayPal customer to pay someone on Paystr.
 
Do I need a PayPal Account for Paystr to collect money?
 
Yes.  You need to provide your PayPal account e-mail address so the the transaction can be processed and so that you can receive the money directly.  Although it is optional at sign-up you do need to provide your PayPal account e-mail address at some point for Paystr to work completely.
 
Where do I input my PayPal account e-mail address?
 
After you login, click on the 'My Account Info' text and then you will see where it says, in blue, 'Change your PayPal Email,' click on that and you can enter your PayPal account e-mail address there.
 
Is Paystr Secure?
 
Yes.  All monetary transactions are securely handled by PayPal.  We don't see, nor do we keep any financial information.  We are solely providing a venue for you to list items for easy payment. 
 
Can I pay with an international credit card?
 
Yes.  After you click on the 'Pay Now' button for the item you are paying for, you will be taken to the PayPal Billing Information page.  At that point simply select the country your card is from and fill out the rest of the required information.
 
Can I use Paystr outside of the United States?
 
Yes.  However, currently all of our listings are in US dollars.  We are working on adding a function to allow multiple currencies.  PayPal will however automatically convert the money from US dollars into your selected currency.  To see a list of currencies PayPal converts click here
 
Why can't I login?
 
You've forgotten your password or you are entering it wrong.  If you need your password, click on 'Login In' and in that pop-up window click on 'Forgot Password?"  

You have been deleted from Paystr.com due to inappropriate content, images, or listings. We immeditately delete spammers and anyone trying to direct users to other websites.

How do I change my Email Address or Password?

Login to Paystr.com and click on ‘My Account Info’ on the left side of the screen. Next, click on ‘Change your Email’ or 'Change you Password' and you’ll be able to change your email address and/or password.

How do I change my username?

You username is unique and cannot be changed.

I Want My Username To Disappear From Paystr.com once I logout

If you want your username and password to disappear after you logout you need to delete your cookies. Simply go to Tools, Internet Options, and the delete your cookies. You can also delete your temporary files.

How do I find other paystr users?

To look up a member by username go to SEARCH. It's better to put part of the name rather than the whole name.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account simply send us an e-mail through our 'Contact' page.  Put in the subject 'delete my account.' Also in the body of the message please include your username and e-mail address so that we may be able to identify your account properly. Also if you could give us a brief reason for the request we would apprecaite it. 

How do I Add/Change/Delete Images?

How do I submit a picture?
Login to Paystr.com, and click on either 'My Account Info’ or 'Add New Listing' on the left side of the page. Click the ‘Choose File’ button in order to find your image on your disk/computer. Next, click on ‘Submit’ and the process is done. Images are optional.  If your images are fine, you may have attempted to upload when our server was too busy. Please try uploading your images again at different times of the day - if it still doesn't work please contact us.

Uploading Problems:
If you get an error that says you need to login again, click logout, login once more, and go to the images page. Try uploading your image again. If the image is uploaded and then deleted, it means it didn't meet our requirements. It may have been indecent or inappropriate for the site. Images are uploaded instantly, if your image is too big it won't upload.  We limit the 'Add New Listing' image to 35kb and the 'Banner' image to 250kb.

What are the guidelines for a profile picture?
Images must be in JPG, PNG, or GIF format. Images must NOT contain any nudity or offensive material. Images must NOT contain cartoons or celebrities.  If images are too large, they will not upload properly. 

How do I delete an image?
To delete an image click on the blue 'Delete Current' button on either your 'My Account Info' or 'Add New Listing' page.
